Smartplugs
MyBrewbot was designed with safety in mind. That's why we don't use relays. MyBrewbot uses the simple, 433mhz plugs that you can buy online or from your local hardware store or supermarket.
MyBrewbot has both 433mhz transmit and receive capability so you can program the MyBrewbot controller from the remote that comes with your smartplugs.
The plugs listed below have all been tested with MyBrewbot and give excellent results.
Wireless SmartPlugs
The MyBrewbot controller has 433mhz wireless built in and can communicate with most cheap remote control smartplugs.
You can either use recommended plugs and get the controller to program them or you can buy whatever set you can get easily and program the controller from the smartplug's remote control.
Smartplugs that have a 'Master' switch (a switch that turns all of the plugs on or off) generally don't work. Avoid them if you can.
Also, the controller doesn't work with WiFi plugs.
